Paul Dockendorff formed Northwest Security Services Inc. in 1982. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and served in the Naval Submarine Service.
Before Paul established NWSS, he was employed by general contracting firms as a superintendent with quality control responsibilities including project security. Paul recognized the need for increased security standards and quality control. NWSS was formed from his vision to become the highest quality security provider in the region. As a past president of the Washington State Security Council, Paul was instrumental in the development of the first Washington State Security Guard Licensing Program.
Throughout the years, Paul's enthusiasm and commitment to exceptional security services continue to set us apart from other security providers in the Puget Sound area.
Stephen visits with clients regularly and meets with NWSS management staff daily to monitor performance and effectiveness in responding to client needs.
Stephen joined NWSS in 1998 and successfully worked in nearly every operational and management position before becoming president in 2006. In January, 2010, Stephen became an owner of NWSS. He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP). He currently serves on the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Education Committee. In addition, he is an active member of the Seattle Police Department's West Precinct Security forum, the Hotel Security Alert Network, and executive board member of the Eastside Security Forum.
He also has specialized training in Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) and is a Washington State Certified Trainer.
Lynn brings 30 years of experience to our team in law enforcement, hospital security, and private security.
She is responsible for interviewing, selecting, and backgrounding our security officer candidates. Lynn administers our comprehensive pre-assignment training program and administers the State of Washington licensing requirements for our company.
Lynn joined NWSS in 1998. She is a Washington State Certified Trainer and an advisor to the Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) Security Officer Training & ad hoc legislative committees.
Michael Bradley joined NWSS as the Director of Operations in January of 2012.
Mike served four years for the United States Marine Corps, and was deployed to Kuwait, Somalia, Saudi Arabia and other overseas locations as a member of a Maritime Special Purpose Force Security Element detachment. Mike brings nine years of retail sales management and six years of sworn law enforcement and hospital security experience to his new position. Before he discovered his exceptional talent in team building, cost containment and organizational oversight of quality customer service, Mike pursued an initial career choice in forensic science, earning his B.S. from the
Mike brings highly attentive customer relationship building skills and his multi-layered knowledge of the security industry to his new position with NWSS.
Clayton is responsible for daily and weekly fixed-site security program management; developing and maintaining efficient and effective fixed-site client relationships and follow up communications; ensuring appropriate fixed-site and extra coverage employee scheduling and arrangement expectations are met; ensuring initial site, follow up and postassignment training expectations are met; issuing daily and long term field supervisor activity expectations and/or requirements; touch probe program integrity and policy enforcement.
During any temporary absence of the mobile operations manager, Clayton is also responsible for daily and/or weekly management of mobile patrol security operations.
Clayton Walker was promoted to Field Operations Manager in June of 2008. Clayton joined NWSS in 1999 as a security officer and was promoted to mobile officer in 2000. He was promoted to Field Supervisor in November of 2007. In his spare time, he acquired his Washington State Realtor License.
David Johann joined NWSS in July 2010. He was quickly promoted to mobile patrol officer and then to Mobile Operations Manager in August 2011. David has an extensive background in the security industry, providing excellent service in several positions ranging from security officer, bicycle patrol officer, mobile patrol officer, operations supervisor, account management, V.P of Sales and Marketing, and Assistant Branch Manager in the Seattle Metropolitan area. David has an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies with an emphasis on team dynamics and leadership in the marketplace, and is currently pursuing a degree in Pastoral Counseling.
Al Barto joined NWSS in March of 2010 and was promoted to site supervisor in April of 2010. He was promoted to Mobile Operations Manager in August of 2010. Al has a Bachelor's Degree in Law, Society and Justice from the University of Washington. Prior to working for NWSS, he spent five years in various management positions with a national bank. Al has also obtained his insurance license and is a notary public.
