| NWSS TESTING PROGRAM
- During initial screening, qualified applicants are tested for problem solving and written comprehension skills in the English language within a limited time frame.
- Before a job offer is extended, ALL candidates are given a Drug Test to ensure they meet with NWSS company-wide drug policy standards. In addition, NWSS tests Security Officers for "Reasonable Suspicion" or "For Cause."
- During training, candidates are challenged and tested on relative concepts including: access control, report writing, anti-terrorism, customer service and sexual harassment.
- Once the candidate has successfully completed training, the State of Washington Private Security Guard Pre-Assignment Training Examination is administered.
- Testing does not stop with training, however. Our Security Officers are continually tested at their sites to ensure they are current and up-to-date on facility procedures. Testing is documented and available to all clients.
- Finally, rates of pay to Security Officers are based upon performance, longevity and successfully passing a written test to assure continued knowledge of company policies and security responsibilities.
